NBFM (Nippon Building Fund Management Ltd.) was established in September 2000 for the sole purpose of managing the assets of NBF (Nippon Building Fund Inc.)

In September 2001 NBF, the assets of which are managed by NBFM, became the first Japanese real estate investment fund to be listed on the real estate investment trust (J-REIT) section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and thanks to all, has, in the context of the overall continued healthy growth of the J-REIT market, achieved positive results and been able to make stable distributions of profit.

Management of assets is conducted through maximum utilization of the know-how of its shareholders such as Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., Sumitomo Life Insurance Company, The Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

NBF intends to continue to achieve stable profits on a mid-term and long-term basis and to exert its utmost efforts to earn the unwavering trust of all related parties starting with its shareholders and tenants. NBFM believes that it can contribute to the further development of NBF, as the leading Japanese J-REIT, as well as the J-REIT market as a whole.
